Atoman has established four epitaxy factories in Beijing, Xiamen, Zhuji, and Finland, providing diversified and reliable epitaxial products and services to customers in both domestic and European markets. The deployment of these factories, both in China and aborad, ensures the security and stability of the supply chain. The strategic positioning in China and Europe provides Atoman with a broad market, integrates innovative and talent resources, strengthens relationships with domestic and international industry partners, and drives sustainable development through synergies within the group.
BEIJING
Beijing Shunyi Factory, as Atoman's first epitaxy manufacturing facility, is equipped with five MBE systems. It specializes in producing GaAs and InP epi-wafers that are widely used in applications such as 5G, VCSEL, data centers, and 3D sensing. As a showcase epitaxy factory based on MBE technology, Shunyi Factory encompasses the entire ecosystem of MBE equipment and epitaxy production. It not only manufactures high-quality epi-wafers, but also provides customers with a visual window to understand the epitaxial growth process based on MBE technology.
XIAMEN
Xiamen Jimei Factory is Atoman's second epitaxy manufacturing facility, featuring a total of 14 MBE systems. Among them, 8 systems are the state-of-the-art 1400 series Hybrid-MBE, which significantly enhances the epitaxial wafer production capacity. This advanced equipment enables us to provide high-performance, cost-effective GaN epi-wafers for RF and power devices. To further improve yield and reduce costs, we are collaborating with our partners to develop an AI-based epitaxial growth monitoring platform. This platform will enhance the production of arsenide-phosphide (AsP) and nitride-based epi-wafers, establishing Atoman as a leading force in the first-generation compound semiconductor industry.
ZHUJI
On April 3, 2023, Atoman signed an investment agreement with the government of Zhuji City to initiate a project for establishing an epitaxy manufacturing facility in Zhuji Development Zone. The first phase of the factory is planned to house 15 Hybrid-MBE systems. Upon completion, the Zhuji factory will become a leading MBE technology service center in China. Zhuji factory will expand Atoman's epitaxy manufacturing footprint, covering the North China, Yangtze River Delta, and Pearl River Delta regions. This strategic expansion positions Atoman as the provider with the broadest epitaxy solution coverage nationwide.
FINLAND
The Finnish factory will be equipped with 10 MBE systems and will specialize in the production of arsenide-phosphide (AsP) and nitride-based epi-wafers, catering to the needs of European customers. The strategic location of the Finnish factory facilitates efficient collaboration with European partners, saving time on export permit approvals and ensuring a stable and secure supply chain.
